AMSURG, the Nashville-based ambulatory surgery center operator, said on October 13, 2026 that it had acquired Euclid Endoscopy Center, a gastrointestinal-focused provider with sites in San Diego and El Cajon, California, according to a company statement distributed by PR Newswire.

The two centers have three procedure rooms and five gastroenterologists, the company said. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The purchase raises AMSURG's California holdings to 25 centers. The company operates a network of more than 250 surgery centers nationwide, working with physicians and health systems across specialties including gastroenterology, ophthalmology and orthopedics.

Adam Tripp, senior vice president of corporate development at AMSURG, said the two organizations had already worked together on physician recruitment to support Euclid's growth. He described Euclid's role in providing "accessible GI care to patients throughout San Diego County and beyond."

Both Euclid locations remain open and are accepting new patients, AMSURG said.
