TradingHub, which sells trade surveillance software to investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and brokerages, said on October 13 that it had appointed Phil Snow as chairman.

Snow was chief executive of FactSet from 2015 to 2025, a period in which the financial data company more than doubled revenue and joined the S&P 500, according to the announcement distributed by Business Wire. He has about three decades of experience in financial technology and data.

The appointment follows an investment in TradingHub by Nordic Capital in April 2026. Mohit Agnihotri, a partner at Nordic Capital and a TradingHub board member, said the company has recorded further wins at large global banks since the deal.

Snow said two areas are opening up for the business: banks that already use TradingHub for fixed income surveillance moving their equities surveillance onto the platform, and work with customers on the use of AI agents in surveillance. He also cited expansion into new regions, including Asia-Pacific.

Snow succeeds Neil Walker, who co-founded TradingHub and ran it as chief executive for 14 years. Walker stepped down as executive chair earlier in 2026 and remains on the board. Mike Coats is chief executive of TradingHub.
