Each of Anthropic's seven co-founders holds roughly 1.4 per cent of the artificial intelligence company, according to an initial public offering filing disclosed on October 26, The Australian Financial Review reported.
The stakes are worth more than $13 billion apiece, the AFR said, citing the filing. That places all seven founders, among them the siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei, inside the top 300 names on Bloomberg's Billionaires Index.
The holdings make the group wealthier than several widely known figures in finance, including Bill Ackman and Stan Druckenmiller, according to the report.
Anthropic, a rival to OpenAI in AI model development, disclosed the ownership breakdown as part of its IPO paperwork.
This story was first reported by AFR.
