Keith Lerner, chief investment officer and chief market strategist at Truist Advisory Services, said on October 13 that the four-year-old bull market in US stocks still has room to advance, with artificial intelligence and technology shares central to its prospects.

Lerner made the comments on Bloomberg Businessweek Daily in an interview with hosts Carol Massar and Tim Stenovec, Bloomberg reported.

His remarks came as equities climbed off their session lows. Traders speculated that the Federal Reserve will not be forced into aggressive rate increases, which offset continuing concern about elevated oil prices and questions over the outlook for artificial intelligence.
