Anastasia Amoroso said stronger-than-forecast producer price figures were not enough to push the central bank toward tightening.

Anastasia Amoroso, chief investment strategist at Partners Group, said on October 15, 2026 that she does not expect the Federal Reserve to lift interest rates when policymakers gather for their next meeting.

Amoroso made the comments on "Bloomberg Open Interest," Bloomberg reported. She argued that a reading on producer prices that came in above forecasts does not change the near-term path for policy.

Producer price figures track the prices suppliers receive and are watched by investors as an early signal of where consumer inflation may head. A stronger print can revive expectations that the central bank will keep policy tight for longer, a shift that typically weighs on bond prices and on equity valuations.

Partners Group is a private markets investment firm. Amoroso's remarks reflect her own outlook rather than any guidance from the Federal Reserve, which sets rates through its policy committee.
