Lisata Therapeutics Inc said on October 15, 2026 that it had named Jeffrey Farrow, a longtime biopharmaceutical finance executive, to its board of directors, according to Proactive.

Farrow takes a newly created seat that lifts the board to eight directors from seven, and he will join the audit committee. The Nasdaq-listed company trades under the ticker LSTA and is also quoted in Frankfurt.

Farrow has held the combined roles of finance chief and strategy chief at Tarsus Pharmaceuticals since April 2023. He is a director of Clover Biopharmaceuticals and of Achieve Life Sciences, where he leads the audit committee.

Earlier, he was finance chief of Global Blood Therapeutics from 2016 to 2022, a period that ended with Pfizer's purchase of the company. He also served as finance chief of ZS Pharma until AstraZeneca bought it in 2015, and of Hyperion Therapeutics from 2010 until its acquisition by Horizon Therapeutics, also in 2015.

David Mazzo, chief executive of Lisata, said Farrow had guided several companies from clinical development through approval and commercial launch, and pointed to his public-company background as the drug developer pushes ahead with Phase 2b studies in severe hypertriglyceridemia and acromegaly.

Farrow said he intended to help the board and management "build long-term value for patients and stockholders."

Proactive disclosed a commercial relationship with Lisata Therapeutics.
