Finvi, a Burlington, Mass., maker of workflow automation and payments software, said on October 15, 2026 that Laura Granahan had been appointed chief executive, with the move taking effect the same day, according to a company announcement distributed by PR Newswire.
Granahan joined Finvi as chief financial officer in 2024 and had been sharing the top job with board chairman Jim Lacy since June 2026 under a shared leadership arrangement. The appointment makes that structure permanent.
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Granahan later earned an MBA at MIT's Sloan School of Management and spent more than 10 years in finance and operating roles at Staples. She has also held senior positions at athenahealth, SharkNinja and Presidio, and has concentrated over the past decade on companies serving the accounts receivable and revenue cycle management markets.
"Leadership begins with listening," Granahan said, adding that she had consulted former Finvi executives and industry figures, among them Rozanne Andersen, formerly chief compliance officer at Ontario Systems, since taking on the role in June 2026.
Lacy said the mix of military, finance and operating experience suited the company's current needs.
Finvi said it serves more than 450 collection agencies along with banks, lenders and healthcare organizations handling over $100 billion in receivables. Granahan is expected to deliver a company update at Finvi's PowerUp user conference, which the company said should return in 2027.
